NARCAN Presentation

Thursday, June 21 ~ 7 p.m.
at Cross Lutheran Church

Learn how NARCAN can save lives. Ken Ginlack, Emergency Department Case Manager from Ascension, Kevin Sick, from Aids Resource Center of Wisconsin, and Marquette Police Officer Paul Zienetek will discuss how NARCAN, when properly used, can bring people back from an overdose. Persons whose lives were saved by NARCAN will share their experiences. A limited number of NARCAN kits will be given out to those in attendance.

Youth Education Program241

Provides a variety of education and support programs for congregation and community youth and teens.

 

 

WHO WE ARE

Comprised of an elected chairperson and volunteers, we oversee Cross' education programs, including developing cirricula and materials, recruiting teachers, and assiting the Pastor in hiring a director for the Summer Program.

 

Youth programs includes Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, a Summer Program and Choices, a program for adolescent girls.

 

 

WAYS YOU CAN PARTICIPATE:

• Join the committeee

• Volunteer to teach Sunday School or VBS

• Provide other assistance, such as supplying or serving food, or working with crafts

• Canvas the neighborhood to encourage enrollment of community youth in these programs

• Bring your children, grandchildren or other young people to Sunday School of VBS

• Assist leaders of Choices
