NARCAN Presentation

Thursday, June 21 ~ 7 p.m.
at Cross Lutheran Church

Learn how NARCAN can save lives. Ken Ginlack, Emergency Department Case Manager from Ascension, Kevin Sick, from Aids Resource Center of Wisconsin, and Marquette Police Officer Paul Zienetek will discuss how NARCAN, when properly used, can bring people back from an overdose. Persons whose lives were saved by NARCAN will share their experiences. A limited number of NARCAN kits will be given out to those in attendance.

Session A: June 18-22, Grades 3 & 4


Software Engineering: Introduction to Scratch Game Design

What's more fun that playing an interactive video game? Writing one! Campers will be introduced to video sensing and designing and programming their own viedo games.



Amazing Robotics

The Camp uses LEGO WeDo Robots for students to create projects. Processors, motors, sensors and LEGO bricks are used to create a variety of projects. While working in pairs, students will build, learn how to program and operate their creations using a laptop computer.


Session B: June 25-29 -- Grades 4 & 5


Game Design Lab: Kodu Mario Kart Racing

Create your own racing video game using Microsoft's Kodu gaming environment. Learn the foundations of coding while kicking creativity into high gear with Kodu Kart Racing.



Robotics: Robo Battles

In LEGO Robo Battles camp students create, program and control robots designed to perform challenges such as the SumoBots, Jousting or the Catapult Challenges. Students use LEGO Robotics and computers to learn the principles of robotics, coding and teamwork.


Children enrolled in both morning and afternoon sessions should bring a bag lunch for each day of camp.
